Where is Justice in Salman's case? JUSTICE IS NOT EQUAL FOR EVERYONE

Is the justice being made in Salman Khan's case ? Not at all. Justice delayed is justice denied and after 13 years of legal battle, we may tempt to think that finally justice has been done.....really? Just ponder over following points:

(1) Its only first announcement of verdict- after 13 years, now it will go in high court and eventually in supreme court and only god knows when final verdict will come.

(2) For such a simple case with clear evidence it took 13 years for judgement, means if you have money and/ or power, you can make law to work slow, sometime case may not over even in your lifetime.

(3) Police man Ravindra Patil suffered like anything to stand with truth and finally gave up- he died as heavily depressed begger:

(4) Victims- their lives are ruined, one lost life, others their job and peace, didn't get financial compensasion for long time. They could get some money only after intervention of court, that too very little:

(5) Finally- Salman is not going through punishment as yet, he is out on bail and for sure, he will be free for many more years till Supreme court decides to send him in Jail.

WHERE IS JUSTICE? LAW IS NOT EQUAL FOR EVERYONE.

Why Arvind Kejriwal should win?

Why Arvind Kejriwal and AAP should win Delhi election?

(1) If he wins and deliver to promises made, it will be boon for public of Delhi and if he doesn't he will be exposed- either way its good for public. If he would be able to implement AAP manifesto effectively, we will get a good alternate to present political parties and if he won't be able, at least confusion to many undecisive people about his capability will be cleared.

(2) It will give signal to BJP that there is some alternative to keep party and Government on their toe. If BJP wins, there is risk that it becomes complacent in delivering promises as they see no strong opposition- congress is on way to finish, credibilty of others are too low.

(3) It will help bring back issue of Corruption in centrestage, and prompt government at centre to take steps on it on war footing.

(4) It will give a ray of hope to common people that anybody can enter and fight election and can succeed too.

Swachha Bharat Abhiyan- tokenism or real movement?

Swachha Bharat Abhiyan is a buzzword now a days. At every government establishment, you can see posters and slogans, at Radio and TV, lot of advertisement of this and lot of discussions all over media and country. Today's TOI survey reported that this initiative is most liked by respondents.

Yet, In my mind, I am not convinced that this is great movement. Some questions, I am surprised, are not being asked by anybody. Let me list out them:

(1) Why there is no discussion on cause of dirty India?

(2) Why governments (central and states) are not taking people on task, who are actually supposed to keep India clean? ( Nagar Nigam, Nagar Parishad, Panchayats etc)

(3) Why no focus on fundamental thing we are lacking- policy on dumping and treating all kind of waste?

And there are many such obvious questions............

Our local bodies (municipalities and panchayats) are entrusted with task of keeping our villages and town clean and lot of funds being allocated every year for same. Most of these funds are going in drain due to corruption. If these funds will start getting utilised properly, half of our problems with respect to cleanliness get solved automatically.

Its good that Prime Minister himself has taken initiative and nominated many big people to carry forward, but in the first place, why PM has to take broom to clean city, which is capital of India with local bodies, divided into wards, with their corporators and MLAs, supported by MPs? Shouldn't corporator of ward be responsible for keeping his/her ward clean?

PM has cleaned ghats of Ganga also. Shouldn't Nagar Nigam of Varanasi and state government responsible for keeping them clean? Isn't it responsibility of Public health department to keep minimum hygeine level in towns?

I am sure there is lot of funds for local bodies as well for public health. PM should clean these departments of corruption first, that will be real milestone towards Swachha Bharat Abhiyan.

This is my views that instead of tokenism, we should go in root cause and prevent dirtiness rather than focus on cleaning.

Of course, public also need awareness about keeping our surrounding clean and that should be complimented by effective wastage dumping and treatment policy but first thing first, to make our system corruption free and more responsible.
